What our website maintenance services cover
Updates. Software, plugins, themes and dependencies are kept current. Where possible, we test them away from your live site first.
Backups you can trust. Automatic backups stored away from your server, and we test restoring them. A backup that has never been restored is only a hope.
Security. Access reviews, monitoring for known vulnerabilities and encrypted connections. If something goes wrong, you'll have someone to call.
Uptime monitoring. We find out when your site goes down, ideally before your customers do.
Speed checks. Sites slow down as images and scripts pile up, so we check performance regularly and fix what's slipped.
Forms and key journeys. We test contact forms and checkouts, since a broken form can lose leads silently for weeks.
Search health. We watch Search Console for indexing errors, broken links and accidental noindex tags.

Inheriting a site someone else built
Your original developer has disappeared? That's common. We start with a review: who holds the domain and hosting accounts, what the site is running on and what's out of date. Then we'll secure access, take a backup and tell you what needs fixing first.
